Accusound CX-4 Series- American Made Premium Quad Microphone Cables are featured on the highly acclaimed AEA R-84 and 44 microphones. Our CX-4 cables are designed to achieve the perfect sonic transmission of sound signals for all critical studio and stage applications.
The CX-4 features high-strand count Quad Oxygen Free copper conductors (OFC). The benefit of using quad (4 conductor) cables is that they can cancel up to 15 db (about 97%) more noise than even the best twisted pair of (2 conductor) cables. Each set of conductors is sealed in an audiophile-grade, low loss polyethylene insulator for sonic accuracy and clarity of the original signal path. The bandwidth is uniform with a clean midrange and excellent control of lower frequencies. A Copper braid shield is added for additional RFI and EMI noise rejection
Silver solder compound is used to assemble a set of high quality audiophile XLR connectors to each cable. By using silver solder in the assembly process, it will assure maximum conductivity at all contact points.
